Faranak Rajabi

Faranak's research focuses on developing advanced computational methods for complex biological systems, spanning scales from neural oscillators to protein aggregation dynamics. Her work at UCSB's Computational Applied Science Laboratory combines techniques from scientific computing, numerical analysis, and biological modeling to create novel computational tools for understanding and controlling biological systems. Current projects include data-driven control strategies for neural networks and numerical methods for protein aggregation modeling, with applications in neuroscience and biotherapeutics.
