Connecting to the Wifi/wireless
UCSB provides wireless coverage for many locations on campus.
- USCB participates in Eduroam which allows guests from other participating places or institutions to use the campus wifi.
- Long term guests or affiliates can request a UCSBnetID through their host department.
- Visitors to UCSB can self register on UCSB Wireless Web.
Security Policy
Engineering Accounts
You will need a College of Engineering account if you wish to sign onto the engineering computers as well as the Mechanical Engineering labs, and Cooper Lab The main site is https://accounts.engr.ucsb.edu
- Students currently enrolled in an Engineering course can activate their accounts
- Faculty and Staff can request an account for students
- Maintain your account - list of access rights, change password
