Dr. Atzberger's research concerns mathematical and computational approaches for the study of stochastic phenomena. He works in the areas of statistical physics, stochastic analysis, and scientific computing. Specific application areas include: soft condensed materials and complex fluids, micro-rheology, molecular motors, and microfluidic / nanofluidic devices.
