Kjeld Janssen, a Post Doc in Prof. Sumita Pennathur's lab, has been awarded the 2015 Lindros Award by the UCSB Translational Medical Research Laboratory. Janssens' research focuses on developing diagnostic lab-on-a-chip technologies aimed at being able to immediately diagnose viral and bacterial infections in the field.
