Florian Dorfler & Francesco Bullo Win Hugo Schuck Best Paper Award at American Control Conference

ME graduate student Florian Dorfler and his advisor Francesco Bullo have won the 2010 O. Hugo Schuck Best Paper Award. Their work on "Synchronization and Transient Stability in Power Networks and Non-Uniform Kuramoto Oscillators" was selected by the American Automatic Control Council as the best paper at the 2010 American Control Conference in the Theory category. Florian and Francesco will receive the award at the 2011 American Control Conference in San Francisco.  For futher details please see the ACC website.
