Two faculty members received Hellman Family Faculty Fellowships this year:  Yangying Zhu for a project entitled “Blood-vessel-inspired cooling of batteries using internal convective flow”, and Ryan Stowers for a project entitled “Engineered 3D platform for ex vivo patient-derived tumoroid culture”.

 

The Hellman Family Foundation provides pre-tenure fellowships that allow faculty to continue to take risks, gather necessary data, or to complete research that will take their academic careers to the next level.
