Each year the College of Engineering puts out a call for undergraduates to nominate the best Professors and TA's in their department, giving students the chance to voice their favor and acknowledge faculty and TA's who are doing an exemplary job as educators.

This year, the ME Outstanding Faculty Award went to Associate Professor Sumita Peannathur, a PECASE Award winner who's research group focuses on novel studies of chemical and biological species using fabricated micro- and nanoscale devices.

The ME Outstanding TA Award went to Brian Gibson, a graduate student in Prof. Kimberly Turner's group, who's research focuses on vibrometry in MEMS.

Congratulations to both of our outstanding educators!
