This year, for the first time, our Engineers topped off our Design Fair and Year-End Celebration with a very special event at Campbell Hall. Students across a range of engineering disciplines gathered for one last celebration of a year's worth of accomplishments (and blunders).

To kick off the event, first-year ME students showed off a cheeky assortment of mini-robots, created with the aesthetic guidance of the youngsters at Girls, Inc. With designs ranging from Grumpy Cat to Edvard Munch's iconic Scream, there truly was something for every student and community member in attendence. Once everyone had filed into Campbell and the lights had dimmed, our seniors were given the chance to deliver 10 minute "TED Talk"s on the multidisciplinary design projects they'd been working so hard to complete. The talks were professional, informative, and most of all communicated loud and clear that these students were ready to be the next big movers and shakers in the world of engineering.

Between these talks, students whose efforts were concentrated within the field of mechanical engineering played mock commercials for their products, and we got to see some pretty great blooper reels. And just as we thought things were wrapping up, well, there was a robot flash mob. Right there in Campbell Hall. Well done.

For the full show, check out this video, and check back soon for some of those commercials and bloopers from our Engineering team!
