Linda Petzold wins 2013 SIAM/ACM Prize in Computational Science and Engineering
It is my great pleasure to announce that our own Linda Petzold has been selected to receive the 2013 SIAM/ACM Prize in Computational Science and Engineering (CS&E Prize).
The CS&E prize is awarded biennially jointly by SIAM and ACM for outstanding research contributions to the development and use of mathematical and computational tools and methods for the solution of science and engineering problems. The members of the selection committee for this award were Christopher R. Johnson (Chair), University of Utah; Chandu Thekkath, Microsoft Research; and Carol Woodward, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Please join us in congratulating LInda on this very significant achievement!
