awarded the CAREER award from the National Science Foundation. Her proposal is titled: CAREER: An Integrated Approach to Neuron
Mechanics: Deciphering the Functional, Mechanical, and Structural Interactions

Professor Rouslan Krechetnikov and Graduate Student Hans Mayer have been awarded the 2012 Ig Noble Prize in Fluid Dynamics presented annualy by Harvard University "for studying the dynamics of
liquid-sloshing, to learn what happens when a person walks while
carrying a cup of coffee."
